Ticket #590 (closed: duplicate)
sf.net not usable with FF/Noscript -- ALSO unable to send from gmail
|Reported by:||pdontthink||Owned by:||jwigglesworth|
Over the years, SourceForge has done some pretty annoying and seemingly stupid things, but this seems to top them all. Your use of Bad Behavior now appears to make your site entirely un-usable for Firefox users with the Noscript plugin enabled.
Currently, I'm simply unable to use sf.net at all. Maybe I'll try to disable Noscript and see if that "fixes" the problem, but I'm more inclined to continue to advocate that our project migrate more of its services off of sf.net instead, because in my experience, all we get is grief from sf.net and a complete unresponsiveness to major problems like your incompatibility with Gmail, which -- please note -- has reared its head again: the email address given on the Bad Behavior error page bounced (see bounce info below).
The 403 error pagess I get all over your site rendering it useless are horrible. If you need the key I got when trying to log in (something that's never previously been a problem for me), then here it is: 4ccb-7fe4-b40c-8ddc. The obvious questions really anger me - why didn't you announce this? Why didn't you test this more thoroughly? Why does this break in such a poor fashion? Why can't I use sf.net without cookies and scripting turned on?
If this problem is on my side, I'd love to eat my words, but given your track record, I can't say as my hopes are high for any resolution to these issues.
SourceForge, you keep disappointing.
