Tags: Cannot remove project tag

Reported by: zhezherun Owned by: hinojosa
Keywords: CONSUME Cc:
Private: no

Description

I have two problems with the new feature of project tags in the windjview project. First, there is no way to decline a tag suggested by another (non-admin) user: there is only the "add" button. Second, when I tried to temporarily add this tag and then remove it, the remove feature did not work. When I press the "remove" or "hide" buttons, I get redirected to the project page, which then stalls and does not load. So now I am stuck with an extra tag ("windjview-0.5.exe") that I cannot remove.

Hi,

We investigated this specific issue in the database. It appears that a project member moved or deleted the release notes file. You should go back to the file release page and re-associate the release notes. This will resolve this issue.

Hi again,

Sorry - that was the wrong reply on this ticket. This has been repaired. When you click on Edit now, you are given a radio button for each tag. Selecting the radio button will highlight the tag in Yellow, indicating that it will not be shown.

Sorry for the mix-up.

Best regards,

Daniel Hinojosa - Sr. Manager, SourceForge.net Support
