HA Proxy: HTTP/HTTPS handling
|Reported by:||dipohl||Owned by:||hinojosa|
a team member posted the following *bug-report*after his first visit of our new Trac via http://
I tried to login and it accepted my username/password
and the next page output (https) indicated I was logged in.
There was a logout link and since I had nothing to add
I pressed it. Then I was challenged with the with a popup:
A username and password are being requested by
https://sourceforge.net. The site says:
Seems a bit strange to give my username/password to log out!
In my own tests I learned, that logged in users are redirected to the SSL-Host. But if a user is not logged in, the person can't access the SSL-Host.
Therefore I see two possible solutions for the problem:
1. Allow access to the SSL-Host also for anonymous users
2. Redirect calls of the SSL-Host to port 80 (http://) if the user is not logged in.
Can you please configure one of them?
Thanks & cheers,
