Code URL in project is not correct

Reported by: javydreamercsw Owned by: ctsai
Keywords: PEND Cc:
Private: no

Description

Project: https://sourceforge.net/projects/validationmgr/

Somewhere in the migration the code URL in the web page is not correct, or at least I'm not using it correctly. The page displays: https://svn.code.sf.net/p/validationmgr/code-0/trunk validationmgr-code-0 but I'm using: https://validationmgr.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/validationmgr/Trunk which was the URL initially. The last one is already in rev 84 while the first one is still in 11.

Which one is the right one? If the first one is the right one, will importing repo option solve the issue? (besides me pointing to the right one)

Thanks in advance!

The first is correct (though you should use svn+ssh:// not https://*) and yes, re-importing the second repo URL should bring the repo back up to speed at the correct location, then you can start using the correct repo from then on.

Let me know if this helps!

* the reason I suggest svn+ssh:// is because we've seen some corruption issues when writing over https. Using svn+ssh, we haven't see the same issues (it should theoretically perform faster as well)

I started the import and it said it was scheduled. Will I get an emails when is done or something so I can take a look? At that point I would like to have the invalid one removed.

Yes, when the import is complete, it will email you.

You can use the SVN adminrepo tool to reset the classic style repo after the import is complete.

I got an email saying that the import failed and you guys were notified. It doesn't provide reasons for the failure.
