Options to backup Beta SCM repos? (besides rsync server)

Reported by: bernhold Owned by: bprew
Keywords: SOG SCM P3 Cc:
Private: no

Description

I'm behind a pretty restrictive firewall -- essentially only ssh, http, and https go out. Therefore, I can't access the rsync servers on the Beta SCM servers (i.e. svn.code.sf.net), which is how the wiki recommends backing them up.

I was unsuccessful in using rsync over ssh to the SCM servers, and the repository directories don't seem to be mounted on web.sf.net.

Are there any other options? Could additional options be created?

Thanks

Greetings,

I think rsync over ssh would be reasonable for SCM backups. I'm escalating this to our operations team for evaluation.

Please use interactive shell and perform the rsync operations from there.

Thank you,
