SF2.0 Discussion Tool: new topic posted via email doesn't show up

I used the "pencil button" with the hover text "Send Email to Create a New Topic". Specifically, I've repeatedly tried sending email to general@… from jnewsome@… and from my gmail address (the one I have tied to my sourceforge account).

I receive notification emails that a topic was posted, but it they do not show up on the discussion web page (http://sourceforge.net/p/xmhf/discussion/general/ )

Interestingly, the 'thread count' on the side-bar is 2, even though there is only one thread showing.
