Status of abandoned project takeover: parpg

Heya dear sourceforge staff,

I registered a new project in late January here at sourceforge.
Unfortunately my prefered project id of choice "parpg" was already taken by an abandoned project that hasn't released any files in 2.5 years of development and hasn't even had a single CVS / SVN commit in this time.

The "my projects" page says that the current status of the project takeover is "APT timed out project admin response" and it's now over a full month business days in the queue. The status page says that taking abandoned projects over takes 2-3 weeks.

What's the current status of the abandoned project takeover process for the parpg id and is there any chance that I can take over the project soon?

Hi Martin,

The issue is that your request was of the type, "Request to replace this project with an unrelated effort". To make this happen, we queue these up to be removed first so that when complete, you will have a clean space from which to work.

The problem is that the facility that does project removals and renaming is off-line https://sourceforge.net/community/forum/topic.php?id=2730&page&replies=1

This facility is fixed and we have cleared our backlog of project removal requests that have come in via the support process. We will be working project rename and APT requests like yours next.
