Botched mount point, repository: https://sourceforge.net/p/verbosio/jasmine/

Reported by: ajvincent Owned by: ctsai
Keywords: ENGR NF-4283 FORGE P3 Cc:
Private: no

Description

I was trying to create a subproject named Jasmine, to move my Jasmine repository into. Unfortunately, after having created the subproject, I could not reach the Mercurial repository's webpage anymore.

In trying to repair the damage, I created a repository in the Jasmine subproject and pushed my changes there. Then I deleted the Jasmine repository from my top-level project. This apparently deleted the subproject's repository...

Please advise. I have multiple local copies of the lost repository, so I'm in no danger of losing data.

Change History

Changed 12 months ago by ajvincent

I am trying to reorganize my project into several subprojects:
dimensionalmap
templates
jasmine

Each subproject would replace an existing repo (I want to move the repo into the subproject), and be a home for a wiki related to the subproject.

I ran into this problem as the first part of the reorganization. I'd like to avoid repeating my mistake on the other two repositories.

Greetings,

Thank you for this report, something indeed seems amiss here. I'm escalating this to our engineering team to investigate this further: https://sourceforge.net/p/allura/tickets/4283/
