Permissions to modify git repo directory

Reported by: matteovescovi Owned by: wdavison
Keywords: SOG Cc:
Private: no

This ticket is a follow-up of ticket #25127. I added a comment to #25127 after it had been marked fixed and close, but I am not sure whether an email notification was sent, so I'm opening a new ticket here.

I don't have permissions to modify the /home/scm_git/p/pr/presage/ directory.

I would like to do the following:
mv /home/scm_git/p/pr/presage/presage /home/scm_git/p/pr/presage/presage.git
rm /home/scm_git/p/pr/presage/.git

(no need to keep around the .git symlink, I'd like to use the presage.git name to access the repo)

According to the "Creating Multiple Repositories" section on https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sourceforge/wiki/Git , I should have write access to the /home/scm_git/p/pr/presage directory.

Can you please either grant me write access or do the two operations above for me?

- Matteo

First of all, we won't rename the directory to the .git version since many of our pages expect the format it's already in.

As for the other items that need fixing, I'm escalating to our operations team to handle.

I've removed the .git symlink and corrected your permissions so you should be able to manage this space yourself properly now.
