Ticket #25168 (closed: fixed)

ttylog project: Cannot edit Milestones in new trackers.

Reported by: jame Owned by: ctsai
Keywords: PEND Cc:
Private: no

Description

I have been migrated over to the new project interface for my ttylog project here at Sourceforge. I was attempting to create Milestones for the trackers but found that although Milestones comes up as being editable and the page for creating/editing one does come up, saving the new Milestone has no affect.

Greetings,

I just tested this myself, both on a project created originally on the new system, as well as a migrated project, and I was not able to reproduce this result.

Can you provide more information on how to reproduce this? Perhaps it is related to your environment? Such as your browser, and potentially some extensions you have installed.

I attempted to make the changes while logged in using both chromium and (IIRC) the version of Firefox installed on Debian v7 (current Debian Testing). I will do some more testing.

Which browser are you using? I've done more testing using both Iceweasel v3.5.16 & v10.0.3 (Iceweasel is Firefox as used on Debian Linux) and I'm still seeing the same issue. This an example of how I'm trying to do this:

1) Go to the ttylog Bugs' tracker
2) click on "Edit Milestones"
3) click on "Add Milestone"
4) Enter a "Name" ('v2.0'), "Summary" ('Version 2.0 Release'). Leave Status as Open. Leave Due Date blank (also tried entering a due date, although it's not really ready for that).
5) Click on "save". Result is the same as the previous Milestones page, with a "No milestones found." message.

Same thing happens using the Chromium browser.

Did something change? I was able to go in and add milestones as neccessary to the trackers in my ttylog project. Issue can be closed.

Greetings,

Thanks for the update. Indeed, our team found an issue specifically with migrated projects. I couldn't reproduce this as my test project was created as an allura project, and wasn't a migrated one.

In any case, thanks for the confirmation that this is fixed.
