Only Admins can upload files

Description

With the new Downloads Tool, the only available Permissions are "Configure" and "Read". Adding a user to the "Configure" permissions does not result in him being able to upload a file. Adding him to the Admin project group works, but I don't want to do that.

It should be possible to enable a user to upload files from within the Download Admin page; it would suffice if the Configure permission did that, but it doesn't.

I'm not having any problems with developer accounts releasing files on my test projects. Perhaps their permissions weren't transferred correctly when your project was migrated. Try removing the developer and re-adding them to see if that helps.

Hello,
created a new user for myself altogether and added him, couldn't add when I logged him in either. Migration seems to have caused several problems with the tickets, I opened another ticket about this: https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sourceforge/ticket/25066. Probably these two can be merged.

I don't think I can solve these problems myself without uninstalling the existing tracker and starting a new one, but I really don't want to lose the ones I have so far. If there's a possibility for you to export its database and reimport, that would be great.

Anything I can do to minimize effort on your side, let me know.

This issue is now fixed, under Downloads on Admin -> Tools, you should see a "Release Technician" link for this.
