tabindex on Sourceforge login screen

Reported by: janenem Owned by: ctsai
Keywords: ENGR NF-3670 Cc:
Private: no

Description

I use the KeePass Auto-type function for many (webbased) applications. When doing a login on the SourceForge site I cannot use the default username/password autotyping. The reason is the tabindex for the two input fields in the login dialog is far from the desired 1. Many other tab sensitive fields (mainly hyperlinks) appear on the dialog.

Please consider using a login screen where nothing else shows but the required fields for obtaining the login information.

In my view the current way is bad or unfreindly web design.

Greetings,

I've chatted with the team about this, and the login page is on the slate of pages that we have (long-term) plans to completely rewrite. As such, we're not going to fix this in place, but will keep it in mind for the rewrite..

As such, I'm closing this ticket as "wontfix"
