I am referencing this project https://sourceforge.net/projects/silversaga/ However I have seem this on other projects as well.

When using Mercurial, The project feed on the front page of my project always lists the committer as Anonymous. I have authenticated through SSH and have set a user name (I have tried several, and all have this behavior) in .hgrc on my local machine.

I have tried to set the username to my name, hoping that ssh would take care of authentication, setting it to my sourceforge user name and setting it to my sourceforge email address (mythmon@…). None of these changed the behavior of the front page.

Clicking through to the mercurial webview, the commits are acurratly attributed to whatever username I put in .hgrc, but sourceforge never puts those onto the front page of the product.

Thank you for reporting this bug. I have fixed the underlying code that generates the feed events and future commits should now correctly reflect your authorship.

Please ensure that your hgrc has a line similar to:

  username = Your Name <username@users.sourceforge.net
