how to manage hosted apps through sftp?

i created a project and opted-in wordpress in the project web space (mount point for hosted apps: sfx-hosted-apps)
i've got sftp access to web.sourceforge.net
i want to install a plugin for wordpress
where should i put the plugin files?
if i want to redirect from the project page to WP, i need to upload index.htm with the redirection code to
is that correct?

It's not possible to access the files on the backend for Hosted Apps (including Wordpress), as such, it's not possible to install plugins. If having plugins is important for you, you may want to consider installing Wordpress in your Project web space instead.

As for setting up a redirect in Project web, you need to replace your project name in the path, so for you, it should be: /home/project-web/programmizm/htdocs/
