unable to test SVN

Reported by: nhaeck Owned by: ctsai

Description

I have created a project "simdesign" where I want to upload 3 of my open-source projects (among which an object pascal XML component with at least 10.000 users, named NativeXml).

However, I cannot test this in the download page, when I checkout SVN (using tortoise-svn), svn gives an error: Error: URL 'https://svn.code.sf.net/p/simdesign/code/trunk' doesn't exist

I am new to sourceforge as admin, so I am probably doing something wrong which must be simple. But whatever I try, it just does not work and I see no other clue how to fix this. In any other project I *can* download the sources using tortoise-svn.

Can you help me?

Kind regards, Nils

Hello,

The URL for your repository doesn't have the "trunk" at the end. See this engineering ticket for some info on this: https://sourceforge.net/p/allura/tickets/2523/

Let me know if this helps!

Hello Chris,

I have added trunk and additional folders but it still doesn't work. Same error.

If I just checkout https://svn.code.sf.net/p/simdesign/code, SVN reports no problem, but then there is nothing checked out.

Can it be that the code in https://svn.code.sf.net/p/simdesign/trunk is somehow marked private, so it cannot be checked out publicly? I don't think I purposely put it private, after all, this code is for public use. If it must be deliberately marked as public, there may be a setting, but I can't find it.

Kind regards, Nils

Hello,

Did you successfully upload the code yet? As you suggest, I don't see any code in the repository yet.
