SVN check-ins fail with \ character in password

Reported by: s1kevin Owned by: ctsai
Keywords: ENGR NF-2012 Cc:
Private: no

I had a single \ character in my password and could not for the life of me, get my password to work properly when attempting to send data from Windows to phpjobseeker. When I sent it using Linux, it worked. I am not sure if this is a problem with svn on the client side (Windows) or if it's a server-side issue though I suspect it's a client-side issue. At any rate, until this is fixed in the software, I strongly suggest at least warning users that a \ character in the password may cause check-in problems for Windows users.

Thank you for noting this, I'm working on compiling a more comprehensive list so we can keep users from using trouble characters. Other trouble characters include single and double quotes (' and ")
