Hello,

I suspect that the connection method may have changed between 2007 and now. Please see our SFTP documentation for details on connecting over that protocol.

Also, it is easier for us to help if you use software that we are familiar with, such as FileZilla. Give that a try and let us know if you're still having problems.

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks,

I still have the same problem when using FileZilla. Log:

Status: Verbinde mit web.sourceforge.net...
Antwort: fzSftp started
Befehl: open "kse@…" 22
Fehler: Network error: Connection refused
Fehler: Herstellen der Verbindung zum Server fehlgeschlagen

Changed 3 years ago by kse

It also fails with other user name:

Antwort: fzSftp started
Befehl: open "kse,jpws@…" 22
Fehler: Network error: Connection refused

Could you please give me a status report on this issue? Thank you!

Are you working on this issue? I still have no connection to web servers. In addition, I now also cannot log into SVN servers. There is obviously something basic wrong here. Please view my follow-up comments in this ticket.

Hello,

According to #17834, this works for you on a different account?

Try resetting your password, it's possible that it didn't sync to the other services properly last time.

Additionally, there are a number of special characters that our site accepts in passwords that are not accepted with our some of our other services (like the Shell service, or SCM write access). Some examples are single and double quote characters (' and ").

I don't have a comprehensive list of these at this time, but try using a password with fewer (or different) special characters.

Regards
