Can not submit source code to my project

Reported by: zetalog Owned by: ctsai
Keywords: PEND Cc:
Private: no

Description

I am the owner of the ya-unit project.
But I cannot submit my changes to it.

The project homepage:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ya-cunit/

CVS client tells:
J:\soliton\cunit\lib>cvs rm -f output.c
cvs [server aborted]: "remove" requires write access to the repository
J:\soliton\cunit\lib>cvs add cunit.c
cvs [server aborted]: "add" requires write access to the repository

The CVS\Root file contains:
:pserver:zetalog@ya-cunit.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/ya-cunit

My project becomes "undefined" rather than other reasonable ones.

My project permissions:
Permissions
Edit Form Permissions

Make a Project (checked)
Admin (checked)
Allow access to shell server group space (i.e. web space) (checked)
Allow access to CVS repository (developer access)
Release Technician

My membership summary:
Username Real Name CVS Access Shell Access Release Tech Tracker Manager Forums News Screenshots

zetalog zetalog Yes Yes No A Moderator - -

Please help me!

Best regards/Lv Zheng

A small mistake in permissions, it should be:

Edit Form Permissions (checked)
Make a Project Admin (checked)
Allow access to shell server group space (i.e. web space) (checked)
Allow access to CVS repository (developer access)
Release Technician

  • keywords PEND added
  • owner set to ctsai
  • status changed from new to assigned

Hello,

For read/write access, you should be using ext instead of pserver (pserver is used for anonymous, read-only access).

Please see our CVS client instructions for help with configuring your system for write access.

Let us know if this helps.
