debug assertion failure

Description

I've installed and attempted to launch Shareaza 2.5.3.0 win32 and 4 of the most recent 2.5.3.1 debug rebuilds (as linked to the bugtrap bounce emails I keep receiving). They all install all right but when attempting to launch I get the "debug assertion failure" pop-up box and when I press "retry", it crashes and shows the bug report which I have submitted each time. What's wrong? Do I now have too many versions installed? I was having no troubles at all until 3 days ago-except that Gnutella2 was "connecting.." for several days even while Gnutella1 and Edonkey were "connected". Thank you. Tom
