About Rehearsal Assistant
Rehearsal Assistant for the Android mobile phone platform allows you to record your thoughts and observations during an event, and to review and share the recordings afterward. If you are a choreographer or director watching a rehearsal of your work, this can help you make note of the feedback you want to share with the cast. If you are a researcher in the field or observing an experiment, this can help you record events of interest. If you are a musician or writer, it can help you record and remember your spontaneous moments of inspiration.
Rehearsal Assistant is superior to a digital voice recorder, because it only requires you to carry around your mobile phone - this is critical when recording spontaneous thoughts, or when you are the type of person that tends to forget devices that are not your mobile phone. It is superior to writing down notes on paper, because it performs automatic timestamping and doesn't require your visual attention - this is critical when observing an event that should always have your attention. It is superior to hiring a real assistant, because it is free (assuming you already own the appropriate mobile phone).
