Get the source

From version 2.4.0 OxygenOffice Professional is based on ooo-build and not on vanilla OpenOffice.org. Hence you have to download ooo-build system. Since version 3.1 ooo-build based OxygenOffice? Professional uses GIT for development. Please refer to www.go-oo.org site to get the latest information. We suggest to download the latest version from the GIT trunk or branch:

Get latest (master) version as anonymous

git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/ooo-build/ooo-build

Get latest (master) version as developer (registration required)

git clone ssh://[username@]git.freedesktop.org/git/ooo-build/ooo-build

Get one (branch) version (example: version 3.2) as anonymous

git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/ooo-build/ooo-build ooo-build-3-2
cd ooo-build-3-2
git checkout -b ooo-build-3-2 origin/ooo-build-3-2
# remove the master branch in this repository, we are interested only in
# this branch
git branch -D master

Get one (branch) version (example: version 3.2) as developer (registration required)

git clone ssh://[username@]git.freedesktop.org/git/ooo-build/ooo-build ooo-build-3-2
cd ooo-build-3-2
git checkout -b ooo-build-3-2 origin/ooo-build-3-2
# remove the master branch in this repository, we are interested only in
# this branch
git branch -D master

One of these methods described above will download the required base file mayweather vs cotto. You have to configure the base system then donwload the required compressed components

Generate

Firs step (after the GIT checkout) is running the generator script:

./autogen.sh

Configure

The first step of building is configuring. We use these switches for configure OxygenOffice Professional:

for Linux builds (3.2.0)

./configure --with-distro=OxygenOfficeLinux --with-dejavu-fonts=2.30 --with-liberation-fonts=1.1 --with-gcc-speedup=ccache --with-num-cpus=1 --enable-binfilter --enable-mono --with-lang="en-US hu de fr it tr ka fi pl nl pt-BR es ja zh-CN sv cs ko sl" --enable-cairo --enable-gtk --enable-kde --enable-kde4 --enable-strip --enable-openxml --with-java --with-drink="Hétszőlő Tokaji Aszú wine" --with-split --with-tag="ooo320-m9" --with-extensions --with-extension-integration --with-sun-templates --enable-mozilla --with-system-mozilla --with-google-docs --with-nlpsolver --without-oooblogger --with-lightproof --with-numbertext --with-watch-window --disable-layout  2>&1 | tee configurelog.txt

for Windows builds (3.2.0)

./configure --with-distro=OxygenOfficeWindows --with-dejavu-fonts=2.30 --with-liberation-fonts=1.1 --with-num-cpus=1 --enable-binfilter --with-lang="en-US hu de fr it tr ka fi pl nl pt-BR es ja zh-CN sv cs ko sl" --enable-openxml --with-win32 --with-java --with-drink="Bock Ermitage wine" --with-split --with-tag=ooo320-m9 --with-extensions --with-extension-integration --with-sun-templates --with-google-docs --with-nlpsolver --without-oooblogger --with-lightproof --with-numbertext --with-watch-window --disable-layout 2>&1 | tee configurelog.txt

Download

Now, download all required components for building. This method will download all required components via executing ./download.

./download 2>&1 | tee downloadlog.txt

Building

Then start building. Note this might takes 4-8 hours on Linux and 20-24 hours on Windows so you can go out or play basketball if you want.

make 2>&1 | tee makelog.txt

If no error message occured you can find the binaries in ./build/current/instset_native/your system/install/ folder. For general rules of building is available on openoffice.org site: http://tools.openoffice.org/
