Where to get help
If you are having problems with OGSA-DAI then please:
- Check the FAQ;
- Check the advisories page;
- Browse or search the e-mail archives (especially ogsa-dai-users);
- Check the search tickets;
- Check our old email list archives at http://www.ogsadai.org.uk/archives/users/.
If you're still stuck then...
Subscribe to our ogsa-dai-users e-mail list
Please subscribe to ogsa-dai-users and ask for help. Please provide as much information as possible, including:
- Java version you are using.
- Operating system you are using.
- OGSA-DAI version you are using.
- Any error messages and exceptions that you are using. If providing exceptions then please provide these exactly as printed by clients or in the log files. Please do not provide a simple textual summary like "It threw a server error".
- Relevant versions of the Tomcat logs if available.
- Any other information you think will help.
Requests of the form I used OGSA-DAI and am stuck! are not helpful to either you or us and people may suspect that you are just a spammer or time waster!
Also, please be patient, the OGSA-DAI team consists of members in many organisations who work on many projects, and may be very busy. OGSA-DAI's support relies on the goodwill of these members and organisations.
If you e-mail the list without subscribing first you will receive an automated reply telling you to subscribe. So, please subscribe. Repeatedly sending your e-mail for help without subscribing does nothing but waste your time and upset the list administrators.

If you're a SourceForge user you can also create a new ticket. Please make sure that a ticket does not aleady exist first.
