What is Metano Linux ?
The Metano Linux,is a GNU/Linux based operating system for smartphones and similar mobile devices. We integrates various Free and Open Source Software projects into a versatile platform. Our distribution,can run on many mobile phones, Nokia N900, Palm Pre, Motorola A1200e and variants are examples of devices that MetanoLinux has been run successfully. We use the OpenEmbedded build system for creation of our rootfs (Root File System). For telephony, networking, etc. freesmartphone.org framework is used. For GUI and PIM,we are using at this time, Opie environment,later on we'll use Aurora/FSO Framework.
