Mac Mini fund-raising

The primary reason why fityk for OS X is not maintained by me is that I don't have Mac. If you have an old Mac you may send it to me. You may also donate money or, if you are a programmer, fix bugs and compile the program yourself.

If the sum of donations for Mac reaches about $500 or €350, I'll buy Mac Mini. To donate, go to the fityk main page and click Donate button. There are two ways of donations:

• Paypal (you can use Visa and other cards if you don't have Paypal account)
• MoneyBookers (you must sign in for an account, then you may use bank transfer or cards)

I think $10 is a reasonable amount. 50 people x $10 and we are done :-)

fityk 0.8.4 on Mac OS X is reported to eat all cpu time (see fityk-users mailing list). The reason remains unknown.

Ken McIvor fixed several bugs in Mac version of fityk and described how to build Mac OS X universal binary (it was tested on Intel Mac). These changes were applied to the program before release 0.8.2. See macosx/README.txt distributed with fityk for details.
