Ticket #378 (closed enhancement: fixed)
nm handling of the -o option
|Reported by:||jkoshy||Owned by:||hglee|
The -o option has different meanings in POSIX, GNU and BSD modes.
According to POSIX, the -o option controls the output radix: http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/7908799/xcu/nm.html
In contrast, GNU and BSD nm implementations use this option to specify that the file name of the object needs to be printed on each output line.
The GNU and BSD behaviors should probably be the default, unless POSIX behavior is explicitly asked for.
