Debug Logging

Logging can be logged to two different locations.

1. Standard output debug string
2. To file ditto.log (in the directory XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<Current user>\Application Data\Ditto, Vista/Win7: C:\programdata\ditto)

To enable only output debug string logging open Ditto and press F5. Press F5 again to turn logging off. These values can be viewed in real time using DebugView.exe (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896647.aspx)

To enable logging to file open Ditto and press ctrl-F5. Press ctrl-F5 again to turn file logging off. Logging will now be logged to ditto.log in the directory XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<Current user>\Application Data\Ditto, Vista/Win7: C:\Users\xxxxxxx\AppData?\Roaming\Ditto.

What is logged?

1. What application and key strokes are sent to the active window to paste a clip
2. Times to fill the main list
3. When a system copy takes place
4. General debugging information
