An Enhanced Visual Workbench for OGSA-DAI

UK JISC-funded project to develop the ADMIRE Workbench.

Project deliverables

• D1. OGSA-DAI Workbench source code: Source code for the OGSA-DAI Workbench;

• D2. A virtual machine image: Workbench-in-a-box: A desktop VM image including an installed Workbench and all other necessary packages to allow people to get started straight away. The image will include OGSA-DAI 4.1, MySQL or PostgreSQL, sample databases and necessary startup scripts.

• D3. A "Getting Started" guide with example workflows: As a companion to the VM image, a "Getting Started" guide for using the Workbench tool itself, a set of example workflows for common knowledge discovery patterns in addition, a set of installation instructions for users wanting to deploy the Workbench from source code in their own environment.

• D4. Website and blog: A project website, plus a weekly developer’s blog.

• D5. Final report: A final project report.
