You may receive notification mail when someone post a new post to your favorite forum. For that, you need to click "subscribe forum". The link is there in a top page of each forum. See a left-down corner and find "Subscribe forum" link.

If you hope subscribe General Discussion and Help, you have to click subscription of both of those. I had finished click a subscription on all forums!
