Agent on Mac OS X to download and upload

Postby minahito » Thu Jul 16, 2009 2:05 am

Hi,

I started developing the agent tool that can download required files, change manifesto and upload files via FTP and SSH. This is very simple first test version for Mac OS X. Click "XML Button" to get URL of files that you can download. Next, double-click a file you want to get. Even if you try to download theme before XCL, the agent will download XCL, because the theme specifies XCL as a required item.

I have to improve this application. This is a first report for XC developer community.

Download XCDownload 0.1.0

This tool is very useful, amazing and easy to run !

Many ideas come to mind the first time i run XCDownload.
^_^

Suggestion! Add a text zone with instructions :

Code: Select all
1. Enter the URL to the XML file
2. Click the button Get "Manifesto"
3. Then from the list below double click
    the file to save.

Note:

When you select a file to save, this application will prompt you to download dependencies! If you don't need the dependiencies, you can click cancel and double click again the file to save.

Thanks for this great tool!
Cheers
:D

I tried to use it. It worked perfectly !
I selected to download cube_default, then Legacy package also downloaded. Good!

This is nice!
but, I have a request to this application, that I prefer not Installer application for Macintosh. I want to copy the file(s) to the applications folder by myself. Is this difficult?

Nice. I have to prepare manual, but it's good idea to embed "how to use" to the application window directly!

No, that isn't difficult. I didn't know how to make dmg file, but I have found the way to do it in net. I'll try it, after I will go home.

I have released v0.0.2 that includes a little updates. To download files, you must choose download directory instead of deciding filename. In addition, I released a dmg file instead of the installer.

Download from here.
