I'm using Enchanting as a tool to give children from 8 to 14 an overview of programming, with mindstorms very simple robots as physical target. It allows me to show them how fun it could be to get into the code, programming movements for a dancer, sensors and conditions for an obstacle avoider or a ball seeker... My question is : Are mindboards members using enchanting, and what for?
P.S Enchanting is a graphical programming enviroment based on Scratch and LEJOS:http://enchanting.robotclub.ab.ca
P.S.2 "coding gouter" is a french initiative of geek dads, to help their children to code by themself, in a not school like but fun driven way:http://ils.sont.la/post/kids-code-and-cakes-coding-gouter-parishttp://ils.sont.la/post/why-coding-gouter-not-a-class-not-a-lesson-and-has-no-teachers
