This package is for working with piecewise functions/expressions. Tested with Maxima 5.20.1. Change the file extention to pw.mac. It is best to put it in share/contrib.

I tried downloading pw.txt (and pw.mac) and in both cases I get an error:
Code: Select all
The requested URL /res11w2yb/pw.mac was not found on this server.

Is this still maintained/available?

The site was locked for a while by Verizon because I missed a payment. It is available now and it is called pw.mac.txt on the server but that should be changed to just pw.mac when you try to download it.

The current version is 5.05 and it requires Maxima 5.19.2 or higher.

Here is the current and correct page. http://mysite.verizon.net/res11w2yb/id2.html for pw.mac. There are links on this page to download pw.mac and some examples of usage. There is also a help file there with more examples and you can download some example code there too.
