Hi. First I want to say thank you for Muse. I moved from Windows to Linux a little over a year ago and was nervous I wouldn't be able to produce music in the same capacity. Muse put my worries to rest. It's my top choice for music creation in Linux.
But still, there are sacrifices to be made. One thing I noticed missing from every Linux distro I've seen is a simple tool for producers, one that helps you make common calculations. So, I decided to write one named RASP. It currently has 3 features: tap tempo, delay/hertz calculator, and a song time calculator (LMMS doesn't have song time, strangely). I'm also adding features like note-to-frequency conversion, a metronome, and some noise/frequency sweeps (a tool I used a lot as an engineer). I hope to have a very robust program by the end of the year.https://launchpad.net/rasp
I hope this tool helps those who see this post. Please keep developing and contributing to Muse! Oh, and if pressed I can point you to some music I wrote using Muse.
Also, would you suggest I host this project on sourceforge too? I'm just more familiar with launchpad I guess.
