In order to work with Tomcat you need to add your SLF4J implementation (like the slf4j-log4j, see http://www.slf4j.org/
) in the shared/ library section or to the war project. In addition Gracelets does not force you to use any particular JSF implementation (to add the JSF RI implementation, it would be 'javax.faces:jsf-impl:1.2_13'), so you would need to add that to your pom.xml. In relation to JBoss, JBoss comes with the JSF RI API and Implementation already available to web applications, so you would need to make the JSF API 'provided' under maven in the war pom.xml. I am also planning to make archetypes ready for each environment, so soon there will be one for JBoss and standalone tomcat.
