The cause appears to be that the TGLMultitextureCoordinator object that vMTC points to does not exist anymore. Since the problem fairly consistent (sometimes the memory is still allocated, but doesn't contain the right object), I assume that GLScene freed this object. Probably due to something I did that I shouldn't have.
So now my question is: under what conditions could GLScene free this object? Any hint would be helpful for me in my search for the what went wrong.
