Copy files from NAS Server to NAS Server

Postby disco_unit » Wed Nov 04, 2009 1:09 pm

Help,

I have 2 separate FreeNAS servers. I have to copy the contents of one of the servers over to the other server.
The FreeNAS server that I have the files on is running FreeNAS amd64 0.69.2.4700.
The FreeNAS server that I have to copy the files to is running FreeNAS i386 0.69.2.4700.

Should I use NFS?
If NFS, does someone have some screen shots to show me the proper settings to use? See below for screen shot example;

How do I copy everything without going through or using a windows PC?
Is there some type of script that I can use by choosing the destination IP address to copy the files to the other server?

Physically taking the drives out of one server and putting them into the other server is NOT an option.
