Recently, i started to use spamtrapaddresses (file:files/spamtrapaddresses.txt) and appended ~1000 lines into the file.
Lines were of the form
user@domain.com
Everything seemed to go ok until i started seeing penalty trapping log messages for legitimate addresses also. Typically if spamtrapaddresses had a line "ser@domain.com", a legitimate address "an.user@domain.com" would get trapped. There were also trapped legit addresses that had only traps in the same domain, no similarities in the user part(s).
Could something have happened when i pasted the lines to the web ui (carriage return etc.)?
I use a mix of complete addresses and user parts, like
trap.user
another.trap@domain.com
, could this be a problem?
I'm running 2.2.2(12343) on linux.
As always, thanks for your time.
