The ThreeTen project provides a modern date and time library for Java and is the reference implementation for JSR-310.

Status - October 2013

The project is now integrated into JDK 8 and managed via OpenJDK.

Additional documentation and information is available at the ThreeTen GitHub home page (ThreeTen is the name of the project not the JSR or JDK implementation).
