RYahtzee is an open source implementation of the classic dice game Yahtzee written in the Ruby programming language. It has a graphical user interface which is done with wxWidgets. RYahtzee is aimed for the desktop user and should run on any operating system but is mainly developed for Windows and Linux.
I have started the development of RYahtzee mainly because I wanted to experiment with the Ruby programming language and to see how it performs when developing a more complex software application. Furthermore I was interested in the wxWidgets GUI toolkit.
You can download a binary build of RYahtzee for your platform which includes the Ruby interpreter (currently only available for Windows) or get the source code and run the application with the locally installed version of Ruby.
