osSeo (Open Source Search Engine Optimizer)

osSeo is a web tool which provides graphical statistics
on the position of a website over the time.

It is distributed as a single WAR file ready to be deployed in any Java application server. It relies on an embedded DerbyDB for data persistence.

Operation is simple. Search Engine queries are automatically launched every night. The stored results are shown both on tables and time charts. This procedure has proven quite useful when working in long term SEO:

• Keeping track of the rankings helps to fine tune a website to reach the first positions.
• The easy to read statistics will help to demonstrate the success of investment on SEO.

Currently there is only support for 6 Search Engines. Fortunately, one of the advantages of osSeo is that it is very easy to create and deploy new Search Engine definitions as their are stored in XML format.
