is a turn-based strategy game created by Luis Guzman. It is an evolution of SSI Panzer General II. For more details, read development history.
Although similar to PG2, the game of Open General has many additional features and fewer limitations. The purpose of this wiki is to eventually provide a one-stop resource for all information about playing the game. Currently, a player must consult several other resources to be fully informed.
Quick Start
- Download the self-installer
- Install
- Click the "Play Open General" icon in the Start menu
- Optional: Download and install the Challenge Campaign Pack

Terminology
This wiki uses default terminology to describe Open General. Some Equipment files may change the names of unit classes etc. but the behaviour remains the same.
