Welcome to the mwclient wiki
Mwclient is a client to the MediaWiki API and allows access to almost most implemented API functions. Mwclient requires Python 2.x (has yet been ported to Python 3). This version supports MediaWiki 1.11 and above.

About this wiki
Until I find out a way to allow anonymous editting, you need to have a SourceForge account to edit pages. As a user of mwclient you undoubtly know how wikis work, this one is not different from it. Thus feel free to edit, add and remove content to this wiki as long as it is in some way useful to mwclient.

Currently mwclient has no logo. You may propose a logo by uploading it here. If the developers like it, it might become the actual mwclient logo. By adding a logo in the gallery below, you thereby release the copyrights under the MIT license as specified in the last section of the README.
