We have had a nxjcontrol tool since the 0.8 release, but I am not sure if is has had much use. I have not had much feedback on it.
It replaces nxjbrowse and provides most of the functionality of nxjmonitor, nxjconsoleviewer and nxjdataviewer.
We need to make a decision on whether we want to maintain all the separate tools or just maintain NXJControl.
The implementation of NXJControl might change if we produce an Eclipse plugin version of t.
It would be good to add file drag and drop capability to it. I (Lawrie)have made a start on this.
I think Roger prefers maintaining nxjdataviewer as a separate tool. nxjconsoleviewer currently displays the NXT LCD screen. We should probably add this to nxjcontrol. nxjmonitor supports remote logging using the LCP messageRead and messageWrite methods. We should probably add this to nxjcontrol, although it duplicates RConsole to some extent.
The RConsole window should have a "Clear" button.
The Monitor tab should probably have a continuous update button with an option to set the update interval.
