Version 1.5.x of the LabPlot software package features improved full three-dimensional (3D) visualization capabilities, through QWT 3D plotting. Figure below on the left presents three different QWT 3D plots and a single surface plot of the arbitrary matrix data. QWT 3D plots could be extensively configured through the appropriate GUI dialogues and rotated with a mouse. Various palettes have been used. Matrix data could be imported into LabPlot through the wizard and displayed in a spreadsheet form, as shown in the figure below on the right. That data can then be manipulated using built-in functions. It can be visualized in two or three dimensions, as shown.
