We use 2 source code repositories, hosted by SourceForge:
There are multiple projects, 1 for each plugin, hosted on svn and git. With svn, browse first, don't check out until you know what you are getting. Otherwise, you get a lot of wasted bandwidth/space for each branch/tag. Each repository URL may be browsed with a web browser.
Some things are in one, some in the other. Use these guidelines:
- jEdit core
- svn the trunk (latest sources) is https://jedit.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/jedit/jEdit/trunk/
- First browse git. If it's not in git: it's in svn. The order is important here, because several plugins are in both repositories, but svn version is abandoned.
You can also find a cvs repository, we don't use it any more, and it contains only old unmaintained plugins. If you want access to jEdit's raw CVS repository before we converted it with cvs2svn (sometime around 2005), you can find it as "jedit.tar.gz" under the Oldfiles" file releases area.
