Tech Release 5 (0.5.x)

  • Fully functioning multi-turn battles.
  • minimal update to the AI (it should do at least _something_)
  • functioning random map generator
    • fix the current issues (see TODO_list)
    • allow player to select the starting armyset, and set map parameters
    • generate interesting maps
  • Full implementation of cities (villages).
  • Balancing, weeding out, description of units.
  • Elementary hero management (hero X joins every few rounds).
  • Joining/refreshing of units.
  • Manual, and proper i18n framework.

You can play through a (multiplayer) game, and it makes _some_ fun

Tech Release 6 (0.6.x)

  • More sophisticated hero management (how to make them join, ...).
  • Basic ruin/temple management (maybe quest framework with 1-2 types).
  • Nonstandard victories/defeats; event framework.
  • One or two proper maps

You can play properly through a (multiplayer) game


Java FreeLords 0.7.x

  • Saving/Loading
  • Implementation of one or more proper AIs
  • A simple map editor
  • campaign system (?)

You can play nicely as a single player
