DNA Analysis Package
Welcome to the DNAA home page. DNAA is an analysis package for short-read next generation sequencing. It comprises a suite of tools found personally useful to its authors.
Also included is the DWGSIM package, for simulating NGS data and evaluating mappings and variant calling.

The project is in beta stage development. The current release can be obtained by clicking this link.
Get the Code
The code is available via GIT:
git clone git://dnaa.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/dnaa/dnaa dnaa
The whole genome simulation code (dwgsim) is now located at:
git clone git://dwgsim.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/dnaa/dwgsim
DNAA uses the GNU Build system. Please follow the instructions in the INSTALL file accompanying the distribution.
A general install (on GNU/Linux) from source may look like this:
<download dnaa-0.1.1.tar.gz here> tar -zxvf dnaa.0.1.1.tar.gz cd dnaa.0.1.1 <download bfast-0.6.4d.tar.gz here> tar -zxvf bfast-0.6.4d.tar.gz ln -s bfast-0.6.4d bfast <download samtools-0.1.7a.tar.gz here> tar -zxvf samtools-0.1.7a ln -s samtools-0.1.7a samtools ./configure make make install
Note that "make install" requires you to be able to have install privileges on your local system.
