Now it's time to make something a little bit more interesting. Taking advantage of ALSA API possibilities on our OMAPL138's, we provide three audio examples.

Important:

ALSA mixer volume is by default very low. For executing the following examples you must increase volume by typing in SDK's command line:

  #alsamixer 


Example 1

First we are going to play a single song on GPP.

Next, microphone capture.

Note:

Mic must be preamplified externaly before connecting to line-in.


Example 3

Last, a simple full duplex. This means real-time mic capture and playback!
