Introduction
Since their world was invaded by an alien race, the Blobs have faced a lifetime of war. But now they have a chance to win the war once and for all.
In Blob Wars : Metal Blob Solid, you take on the role of a fearless Blob agent, Bob. Bob's mission is to infiltrate the various enemy bases around the Blobs' homeworld and rescue as many MIAs as possible. But standing in his way are many vicious aliens, other Blobs who have been assimilated and the evil alien leader, Galdov.
About
Metal Blob Solid was created by Stephen Sweeney, Richard Sweeney and Ceri Done from Parallel Realities. Since 2010, they are not actively developing this game anymore, and maintenance has been transferred to this SourceForge project.

Blobwars version 1.19 has been released, which fixes medal support and corrects the credits for the song Herbs from Ambick, which is a modified version of Claustrophobia from LizardKing.

Blobwars version 1.18 has been released, with new music and sound effects, which have proper licenses and attribution, and can therefore be distributed by others.
The soundtrack in Blobwars 1.18 has been created from Creative Commons licensed music made by three great artists: DJ Sjors, Ambick and SinQ. Enjoy their music while playing the game!
