The AWS Toolkit for Eclipse comes with support for working with a cluster of Tomcat Java application servers in Amazon EC2.

To leverage the framework to add support for more application servers you just need to provide two pieces:

• Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) that serve as templates of your application server to launch in Amazon EC2
• An Eclipse plugin to control your application servers in Amazon EC2
