Admin only forums

I would like to have forums are restricted to site administrators to cover and track issues with shared project management.

Currently forums only have the options of being open to the public or restricted to developers.

Chris Tsai, !SourceForge.net Support has given me the following work around:

Install a separate forum tool, and configure the tool-wide permissions via Admin -> Tools.

Add an additional privilege setting to forums that allow restricting them to the project administrators.

Rename topics in forums.

The beta forum system does not have the ability to rename topics to more accurately reflect what they are about.

It should also have the ability to detach posts from one topic and start a new topic with them for moderating a fork in the discussion.

Would like the ability to admins to edit a topic title.

It may be a good idea for the original author of a topic to be able to rename it to correct spelling errors.
